Renewable Energy Technology Applications in the South

In collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), TWNSO is seeking to identify and publish innovative case studies for renewable energy technology applications in the South. The project is mainly concerned with the need to know and share best practices in renewable energy.

The first workshop was held at the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Trieste, Italy, from 7 to 9 October 2002 (workshop programme).

The case studies were published in cooperation with UNDP/TCDC in 2003 as part of a series of volumes, and can also be browsed online at the WIDE website.
